Seminole Sunday Sauce — Jan. 18, 2026: FSU Soccer’s Dudley Wins Honda Sport Award

It’s been more than a month since Florida State soccer captured its fifth national championship, but for the Seminoles’ leading scorer, the individual honors keep rolling in.

Forward Jordynn Dudley was named the winner of the Honda Sport Award on Tuesday. The honor recognizes the best player in the country in her sport.

For the season, Dudley led FSU with 14 assists and 36 total points. Dudley was also named a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy.

With the honor, the junior becomes a finalist for Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and Class of 2026 Honda Cup, which will be presented in July. Dudley was previously named a first-team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.

Dudley becomes the fourth FSU player to win the Honda Sport Award. Natalia Kuikka (2018), Jaelin Howell (2021) and Onyi Echegini (2023) are the previous winners.
