Seminole Sunday Sauce — April 26, 2026: FSU Beach Volleyball Wins Big 12 title

In its first season as a member of the Big 12, No. 4 Florida State beach volleyball reigns supreme. The Seminoles claimed the conference title with four wins over nationally ranked teams over two days in Tucson.

Top-seeded FSU opened the Big 12 Tournament with 4-1 wins over No. 18 Boise State and No. 15 South Carolina on Thursday. The pair of Audrey Koenig/Alexis Durish sealed the win over Boise State before Kyleene Filimaua/Saofe Duval put the match away against the Gamecocks.

On Friday, FSU collected 3-0 wins over No. 20 Arizona in the semifinal and No. 9 TCU in the Big 12 Championship. Pairs of Koenig/Durish and Bailey Higgins/Myriah Massey won in straight sets in both matches. The duo of Gella Andrew and Maddie Trusty rallied from a first-set loss to clinch the title match against the Horned Frogs.

With a perfect conference tournament, FSU moved to 33-2 on the year. The Seminoles will take part in the NCAA Championships next week.
