Seminole Sunday Sauce — Oct. 25, 2026: FSU Women’s Golf’s Bond to be Inducted into WGCA HAll of Fame

Now in her 17th season as Florida State head women’s golf coach, Amy Bond has transformed the Seminoles into one of the nation’s elite programs. Throughout the college golf world, those efforts have not gone unnoticed.

In December, Bond will be inducted into the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Hall of Fame. A 2-time ACC Coach of the Year and the 2025 WGCA South Region Coach of the Year, Bond guided the Seminoles to their first ACC title in 2025 and an appearance in the national semifinals.

Bond has led FSU to the NCAA Regionals in each season since 2016, which included regional titles in 2021, 2022 and 2025. FSU is one of just four programs nationally to reach the NCAA Championships in each of the last 10 completed seasons.

During Bond’s tenure, FSU has produced 29 All-ACC selections and 21 All-Americans. Prior to her coaching career, Bond spent five seasons as a player at FSU, earning All-ACC honors as a redshirt junior in 1998. She collected nine career top-10 finishes and won the individual title at the 1998 Florida State Championship.

FSU opened this fall by winning the Folds of Honor Collegiate in Michigan. It has posted top-5 finishes in each of its three tournaments thus far. Currently ninth, the Seminoles wrap up the fall and the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. on Sunday.
