Seminole Sunday Sauce — April 12, 2026: FSU Lacrosse Gets First-Ever Road Win at Kent State
As a first-year program, Florida State lacrosse has had some expected growing pains in 2026. Along the way, however, have come some notable firsts.
The most recent came on Tuesday as the Seminoles beat Kent State for their first-ever road win, 14-5. FSU wasted no time seizing control as it raced to a 5-0 lead.
Meg Kenny led the way with five goals and an assist in the victory. Summer Harrell, Alyssa Deacy and Lydia Ward each added two goals. Harrell finished with a game-high four assists. Zayda Crumpton finished with a pair of goals for Kent State.
With the win, FSU improved to 4-11 on the year. At 0-9 in conference, the Seminoles will have one last chance to pick up an ACC win in conference play. They wrap up the regular season at home on Thursday against Clemson.
