Seminole Sunday Sauce — June 22, 2025: FSU Football Jumps Into Top 25 in Recruiting Rankings

After a disappointing 2-10 season, Florida State football finally seems to have found some momentum on the recruiting trail.

With three commitments this week, FSU moved into the top 25 of the 247Sports Composite team rankings. The week began with the addition of James Carrington. A 6-foot-2, 260-pound native of California, Carrington is ranked as the No. 357 overall prospect for 2026, per the Composite.

On Tuesday, FSU received the commitment of 3-star linebacker Noah LaVallee. The Georgia native is the brother of current FSU linebacker Caleb LaVallee.

The Seminoles finished the week strong with the addition of 4-star defensive lineman Tico Crittendon. A 6-foot-4, 300-pounder from Georgia, Crittendon is the No. 336 overall prospect.

With the additions, FSU moved up from No. 30 to No. 22. The Seminoles currently have the sixth-best class in the ACC.

Baseball
