Seminole Sunday Sauce — June 29, 2025: FSU Football’s 2026 Recruiting Class Vaults Into Top 10
In less than two weeks, Florida State football’s 2026 recruiting class has gone from 30th nationally to inside the top 10.
The Seminoles celebrated a monster week with seven commitments. That includes five 4-star prospects in the fold.
Two of the big-time commitments are a pair of FSU legacies. Devin Carter, a 4-star wide receiver and the son of former FSU running back Dexter Carter, flipped from Auburn. Jay Timmons, a 4-star defensive back and the son of former FSU linebacker Lawrence Timmons, flipped from Indiana to the Seminoles.
Other 4-stars to pledge their services to the Seminoles this week included tight end Xavier Tiller, quarterback Jaden O’Neal and wide receiver Jasen Lopez. Cater, Tiller and Timmons are now the top three rated recruits in the class.
FSU also landed commitments from a pair of 3-star offensive linemen in Jakobe Green and Luke Francis. The Seminoles’ class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, now ranks ninth nationally and third in the ACC.
