Seminole Sunday Sauce — Sept. 14, 2025: FSU Soccer Rolls Past Louisville in ACC Opener

After going unbeaten through non-conference play, Florida State soccer started ACC play with its fifth shutout in six matches. The Seminoles opened conference at home on Thursday night with a 2-0 win over Louisville.

Wrianna Hudson got the scoring started for FSU in the 24th minute on a penalty kick. Yuna McCormack put the match away with a goal in the 87th minute. Jordynn Dudley was credited with the assist.

FSU dominated the contest, more than doubling the Cardinals’ totals in shots (13-6) and corner kicks (9-4). Addie Todd saved the lone shot on goal for Louisville.

No. 7 FSU closed non-conference play a week ago with a 5-0 shutout of Florida Atlantic. Hudson scored twice in that one for the Seminoles. Heather Gilchrist, Enasia Colon and Kameron Simmonds also scored in the victory.

Now 5-0-1 on the season, the Seminoles will hit the road in ACC play for the first time on Sunday as they visit Syracuse. FSU is 7-0-1 all-time against the Orange. It will be the first of three straight ACC road matches.
