Seminole Sunday Sauce — Dec. 21, 2025: FSU Football’s Opponents Set for 2026
Unfortunately for Florida State football, the offseason came early in 2025. The Seminoles dropped seven of their final nine games to finish 5-7 for their sixth losing season in eight years and fourth in six seasons under head coach Mike Norvell.
FSU seemed to be getting hit hard by the transfer portal thus far. While we’re not quite sure who will be on the roster in 2026, we do know who FSU’s opponents will be.
This week, the ACC announced conference opponents for the 2026 season. Coming to Doak Campbell Stadium next season will be Clemson, NC State, SMU and Virginia. FSU will hit the road to take on Boston College, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Miami.
Dates and times for the eight ACC games will be set in the future, but FSU’s non-conference schedule is already set in stone. FSU opens the year against New Mexico State on Aug. 29. It travels to take on Alabama on Sept. 19. The Seminoles will host Central Arkansas on Sept. 26 before wrapping up the regular season against rival Florida on Nov. 28.
