Seminole Sunday Sauce — June 1, 2025: FSU Men’s Golf Posts Top-10 National Finish

Florida State men’s golf notched a top-10 win finish for 2025, but narrowly missed the chance for something bigger. The Seminoles’ season came to an end on Monday with a ninth-place finish at the NCAA Championships, finishing one stroke shy of a spot in the national quarterfinals.

FSU was in position to advance after each of the first three days of stroke play before falling to ninth in the final round. The Seminoles were second after the opening round, fifth after the second and eighth after the third. FSU ultimately finished one stroke behind eighth-place Ole Miss at 12-over par.

Ben Haskins Award winner Luke Clanton and Carson Brewer each finished tied for 22nd for FSU, finishing 1-over par for the NCAA Championships. After appearances in the semifinals and national championship in each of the previous two seasons, FSU has now posted three straight top-10 finishes.
